Did that just happen?! Damn.. we win the tough road games and put ourselves in a nice position to start 3-1 with the easiest team on our schedule and we come out and lay a big ole egg in our home opener with a VERY nice crowd. I can't believe it. This was a must win and we blew it. We can't stand prosperty. smh.
Pfffftttt. There went the air. Dang. Comedy of errors for us, a well coached fired up team on the other sideline, and a great kicker let out our balloon's air.

We served this game up on a sterling platter to NSU. 5 giveaways by our sloppy and mentally soft offense and special teams cost us this humiliating loss. A KD fumble, punt return fumble, two tipped INTs, a WR (who also fumbled the punt) quitting on his route for another INT, a WR dropping a wide open pass and then being unable to decide whether to return a kickoff from the endzone or not,...
That was truly embarrassing. Merry Christmas NSU from your "renewed classic rivals".
I was hoping this was a dream; alas, it is not.
It was very difficult to go to sleep last night,but I just knew upon wakening that none of this was real. Going to be VERY difficult to recover. We could have a miracle and beat Auburn and continue on to win CUSA, but we will still be the team that lost to NSU this year. It is a black mark on our whole year.
Tech's football team is consistently inconsistent. We NEVER capitalize on opportunities to build a solid fan base in North Louisiana. Smh.

Here's your "prediction" for Auburn:
Tech 35 AU 24
Best case scenario, we lose to Auburn and win out. 9-3 wouldn't be bad. Realistically,7-5 seems more fitting. Lose to Auburn, (Insert team name here, game like last night), and Marshall in title game
ODU's passing attack is gonna light us up like a Christmas tree. ODU 49 Tech 20
UTSA is well-coached, and we have no coach at all. UTSA 38 Tech 20
Rice is Rice. Rice 45 Tech 20
Those three games stand out as losses. Probably are others too, because who honestly thought NSU would be loss? Yeah, uh huh, that's what I thought too.
Anybody predicting a winning season after last night.... How?? We just lost to Northwestern....at home.... In front of the third largest crowd ever. I was praying that I could find anything, something to feel good about last night. I didn't.
But the fireworks were pretty!
