5-7 and we get another year of Holtz. I am going to be depressed for another year. Sad thing is we have enough talent to go 9-3 or 8-4 but we don't have a coaching staff that will be consistent on O or D. We will see at least 3 more games this year like NSU.
It doesn't have to be this way but when the dogs are challenged, the coaches go into a conservative shell.
I disagree- I think this game is a wake up call to players & coaches that we may be more talented than the rest of the teams (except Auburn), but we have to show up and PLAY. I think we'll end up like 2011 team - on a roll.

At the end of the day, we are 2-2 and in first place in C-USA West. Saturday, the "reset" button was hit on our season.
Going into the season, everyone thought September 6 in Lafayette would be the tale of the season.
Now, UTEP on October 4 is the tale of the season. Does the team have the fortitude to come off of two straight (humiliating!) lossses, and rebound against a *MUCH* improved UTEP team? UTEP is a phyiscal run-first team, and had great success running the ball against Texas Tech in a close loss. I do believe that this year's UTEP team would have easily beat us last year.
If that game in Ruston turns into anything like NWST... we frankly could be staring at a 2-10 finish, mailing it in again like last year.
With the amount of bowl games available - we'll be bowling at 6-6.
After we beat ULL and UNT, I figured we'd finish 7-5. 2-2 OOC, 5-3 in CUSA. Now, I'm going with 6-6, since we will be 1-3 OOC.
ODU and UTSA, I think, represent the two biggest challenges on our CUSA slate. We COULD finish 6-2 in CUSA, but after watching us play Saturday, I have to figure another head-scratcher is in the cards.
I don't think we'll have any more head scratchers after Saturday. We will be focused. We might get BEAT but we will not be sloppy and give it away (TWSD).
