Seems like a step backwards to me. Not to mention it's a dumpster-fire. Sure, Saban and Spurrier went back, but they couldn't cut it in the NFL.

Saw in the newspaper today that Charlie Weiss is still getting monthly payments from a $6.6 Million termination settlement from his firing at Notre Dame in 2009, and he will now receive monthly payments for another $5.0 Million in termination fees from Kansas that is to be paid out between now and Dec 2018.

According to the attached article, "Weis is being paid through 2015 by Notre Dame as part of his severance agreement. He was paid $2.1 million in 2010, a year after his departure. He got $6.6 million when he was fired by the Fighting Irish."

Y'all remember NBA coach Dick Motta? For a couple of years he was the highest paid coach in the NBA....and he wasn't coaching. In fact, he had signed on as TV guy with a network, getting paid for that gig, while still receiving pay from two franchises who had fired him.

Weiss has to be among the highest paid coaches in college football, considering....
