And if we have to play a FCS game, I say we schedule NSU for each of the next 4 years. Seriously.

If we never play them again, the narrative among Louisiana sports fans and media will be "NSU beat Tech back in '14 and they've been scared to schedule the Demons ever since."

But if we beat them senseless from next year until all of our current players are gone, the story will be "Tech and NWSt renewed their rivalry back in the mid-teens. The Demons escaped Ruston with a single win (on a last second field goal), but Tech dominated the other 4 games. Neither team is interested in renewing the series for the foreseeable future."

We should ONLY schedule an FCS when we have a hole in the schedule and are desperate to fill it. We should never seek to schedule one when other options exist.

If we're going to have enough home games, we're going to have an FCS game every year. If you go back and look at our previous schedules, the only times we didn't have an FCS game on the schedule tended to be the years when we were playing 3 OOC games on the road. That option exists, but it's terrible.

I'm not sure Raulston ever even showed out in practice.
