At the halfway point... what's our final record?

I'll go with 8-4 regular season. Then 9-5 after a bowl game. Anybody think we have a shot of winning out?

If we play every game like the UTEP game, I can't see us losing again.

However, I predict at least one regular-season slip-up (WKU maybe?) and then a close loss to Marshall.

Depends on what pack of dawgs shows up the for the games.....play like we did against UTEP and I don't see any problems with the remaining schedule, Marshal or a bowl game.

This. Hopefully...HOPEFULLY...the NSU game was a wake up call to our guys that we take NO OPPONENT for granted.

We have performed extremely well against run oriented offenses. The verdict is still out on pass offenses, but I think Diaz will adjust what we need to do. If so, we should be looking at no more losses this year until the CUSA Championship game - which I think we can win, but it will be interesting. If we come in on a roll and have our confidence high by dominating teams like we did against ULL, UNT, and UTEP, I think we will take Marshall.

answering your post before reading others--this team could win out til CUSA title game ( assume Marshall) then a bowl game. Thats possible 8 more games. Assume key players stay healthy -- we could win nect 6 BUT we learned from Demon game we could lay an egg -- if ever the 1 game at a time mantra--it applys here

We could easily win out.....and we could easily not win another.

The team that showed up at USL, UNT and vs UTEP is a totally different crew than did not show up against NSU.....Light years different. I honestly think if we played NSU again it would be 49-0.

I think we'll be favored in all six remaining regular season games... If we show up each week, we should win out... The question is "Will we show up each week?"
