MTSU Tickets for Cub Scouts

I just purchased 20 tickets for the scouts. Indications that there were about 150 purchased before mine which brings it to 170. They said they sent 300 patches ?? out to scouts so there could be a need for 130 more plus the numbers of parents that might attend the game too. They also mentioned that this was a military appreciation with a potential of about 1500 there. I don't know how many scouts usually attend these types of events but there is a place for the tickets to go if not as many scouts or parents show up versus the number of tickets purchased.

So those of you that are considering donating or purchasing tickets, there is plenty of room for your generosity. We could be helping TECH move up its student population in a few years and maybe make a TECH fan for life. Young people are very impressionable at that age and a solid dose of TECH early on could mean all the difference in the world.

This year's scout day is October 24 vs. MTSU. There will be a campout after the game in the North Endzone for the scouts. I am trying to bring a large contingent from my boys' Pack in Shreveport.

The cost of the tickets are $12 each (parent & scout). If anyone is interested in donating to this cause, please call Chris Nichols at the ticket office and let him know.

What events are actually being offered for the scouts? Does this apply to Boy Scouts also, or just Cub Scouts? I have a Troop in Cenla and may be interested in making the trip.

As you can see in the picture it's Boys Scouts, Cub Scouts & Girl Scouts.

Last year they had an ROTC boot camp and a campout the night before and they were in the endzone for the playing of the national anthem.

This is another example of poor planning/coordination. The weekend of Oct 23-25 is Cub-O-Ree for Louisiana Purchase Council. This is the largest campout of the fall for Cub Scouts at Camp Attakapas near Jena, LA.

Any other game would be better for Louisiana Purchase Council Cub Scouts and their families (Ruston, Monroe, Alexandria areas)
