At the end of the game, Sonny Dykes is standing there at the door to the dressing room hallway at the Kibbie Dome and Hunter walks up after that great game where he debuted.

It's Sonny, Hunter and me:
"Thanks Coach for believing in me and giving me an opportunity with this team," the walk-in told the coach.

"It's my pleasure," Sonny beamed.

Hell, I thought I was gonna cry. LOL. What a moment.

He is a great kid - always yes sir and yes mam. I hope Hunter's relationship with Tech doesn't end when he graduates. I still feel like he would be great as part of a future all Tech Alum coaching staff including Coach Ratay.

Hunter Lee has been a perfect fit for our University. To me, he epitomizes the very best qualities of a Bulldog: Loyalty, Courage, Tenacity, Perseverance.

Back to Mr. Lee. I love players like him. I'd be thrilled as a coach to have a whole roster of kids like that (um, in different sizes and skill-sets, but with BIG hearts!)
