He was a "system" quarterback at Baylor. The NFL is a whole different world.
Fragile...
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Dwayne hit the key point--fragile. He's hardly a system QB. He's got a great arm and his mobility is amazing. He was playing well before he got hurt despite how bad the Skins are. They gave up too much to get him and then compounded the problem by drafting a QB in the 3rd round. They need linemen and receivers pretty badly.
And accuracy is a big one to me. Brees has a good arm and can move in the pocket some (feels the pocket well). But he looks at 2nd and 3rd reads and he puts the ball on the money many times. That TD pass to Jimmy Graham against he Panthers was sick. He made it look real simple, but he couldn't have placed it better if he had gone out and just placed the ball in Jimmy's hands. You don't really see it until you watch a QB who is inaccurate. Guys are moving so fast out there, the slight underthrow or pass behind someone is the difference between a pick and a big pickup.
Robert Griffin did so well his first year because his mobility and great arm could make up for his lack of reading ability and accuracy issues. A play would break down and backyard football would ensue. When a QB rolls, WRs are taught certain roles to play (typically deep guys come in and shallow guys go deep), but also everybody starts rolling with QB. This gave RGIII the ability to see many options in one frame of vision (and why rollouts are more popular with young, mobile QBs). It aint easy to look at one side of the field, quickly assess rather 1 is open, then scan to number 2, then to 3 (which could span the whole field). It is mind boggling how the great ones do it.
I comprehended ALL the posts perfectly.
Of course, if yours was meant as sarcasm, then no, I didn't consider that, since no "sarcasm alert" or icon was used.
I took the statement in Post #6 at face value. It's something I agree with. But, being who you are, a good libtard, maybe you did post one thing, but meant something else. Typical. Libtards can't openly say what they really stand for, they would get fewer than 100 votes....nation wide.
