BBB funded bonuses for Diaz, Holtz, and other coaches

I remember a few months ago when many people on this site thought we would only win 3-4 games this year. I made a deal with a few users on here that if we won around 8 games this year, they had to donate at least $100...hope they don't chicken out

I'd say donations would be in the thousands if you had challenged enough people.:icon_wink:

Most of those are either already giving or will gladly give in honor of being so wrong.

I would disagree with this, on record alone. In the last 10 years, every time we've made a coaching change (to Dooley, Dykes & Holtz), we've experienced a down year (less than .500 record) . That's BS. And it's got to stop.

Again, the way this program is going to GROW is by experiencing WINNING! And I'm talking about "back, to-back, to-back, to-back, to-back" winning seasons. That's what we need. About 5 bowl game appearances in a row. Then, I believe we will have turned a corner as a program.

. Hogdawg absolutely right. Somehow ULL got credit for going to same lame NOrleans bowl every year. We need to qualify for bowls every year in CUSA. We do have plenty of opportunity in CUSA -- extra month of practice, fire up fan base, Bowl games . A+ post

I believe that we should give some of our coaches some financial appreciation, especially Diaz, for getting our team bowl worthy. Most people barely thought we would make it to eligibility, now we have a chance for the championship. A gesture like this could help us keep some of them for at least another year.

I would be willing to donate at least $100 to a Bulldog Barks and Bytes funded bonus​ for the coaches...anyone else want to join in?

I'm in and again especially Diaz. Instead of the ice bucket challenge, we could have the drink a beer challenge or go to a game challenge.

A few Ks isn't going to make a bit of difference. I would rather raise money for a decent sound system for Joe Aillet Stadium. What we have today (popping, clicking, buzzing,...) is too embarrassing for televised games.

Yep. I'm still trying to understand why the Big Screen video board I watched at the Lovejoy vs Wylie HS football game in Wylie, Texas, last Friday night sounded so much better than our Dawgzilla did on Saturday. About the same size as our video board too.

With all the free advice we dispense on here, we're practically coaching the teams ourselves. Heck, they should be paying US bonuses, except you can't put a price on this kind of consultation.

I bet when they come they'll show our sound technicians how to twist a few knobs and plug in the right mics. I'd say there is no consistency in having the right trained local technicians on hand. Emphasis here is on TRAINED.
