It doesn't have to be massive. It is possible to slightly downsize the current state-T, add the lettering, and only have it span between the 37 yard lines or so. Looking at the current pic of the field, there is a long way to go before any cluttering happens.
Just an opinion. I doubt it would ever happen. I for one like the newer logo. Maybe put the newer logo in the endzones.

No problem. I guess I should be adding my own :icon_wink:'s. All I say is, IMO, that I think the new logo would look good, especially in the middle of the field.
From the years of reading this board, I am well aware there are some/many who would disagree or have their fun. I can respect that change is not wanted.
