Coach Holtz was on Fletch this Am-- he talked about Dixon injury and expressed concern about "overplaying" him. Sounds like he was not taking contact in practice and they do not want to risk doing more damage if he is not ready to go. Heard enought "coach speak" to know Dixon will be suited up and start --just a matter of how the warrior holds up ....

Respect for OLD Dominion. The guys that will be starting game for OD deserve a shout out. In 2009 this group of guys re- started OD football -- They have gone 49-19 since rebirth. This will be senior day for a group of winners --got to believe this will be emotional day for players, coaches and program. Their qb has started since freshman year and their coach is quality guy -- they run wide open spread offense and focus on low risk passes, lead conference in effeciency -- I personally like everything I have seen and read about the program -- that said, I think the team needs to bring the same level of passion to game and not start slow. Should be intense game ... against quality program

Sounds like he won't play much. That makes it tougher...

Roy Lang of Shreveport Times did his first right up in Times for what seems like years. Get the feeling we are beneath him and no one else available. We lost Watson for some reason and they assigned a rookie to occassionally do article. USA today did 1 and 1/2 pages on Tech and Summitt--it never hit Times. Fletch does great job on his show (Tech Tuesday) -- but coverage is pathetic here. Wonder if our pr department could send them article to publish?
you are right, several posters give nice threads -- I google whoever we play and get write ups from threir local paper or their website ...
Same reason the Department will not cooperate with KSHV to insure a local broadcast of available sporting events in the Shreveport Bossier area...
It's always someone else's responsibility -
IF the school wants coverage THEY should work hand in hand and to help get that coverage - that is not happening, especially on the TV side
