anyone has any update on this lady?
Doesn't look like she is playing much.
Strangest thing I noticed was that she had four fouls in 4 minutes, but she is a freshman on a team that is undefeated, so lack of playing time isn't that surprising
The MIN/G column has the same value as the number of games played for all players so it doesn't reflect actual minutes played. However, looking at the overall stats, it doesn't appear she is playing much (2 points, 1 block, 2 rebounds, but also 5 fouls and 3 turnovers) http://thefcsaasports.com/sports/wbk...eup&r=0&pos=st. All players are either freshmen or sophomores since she is playing at a junior college. For someone recruited to play D-1, you would expect more playing time. Perhaps she is going to be a college player bust.
In her recruiting all along, it was stated she would be a project: "Kennedy's size will be a big factor for us," Summitt said. "We expect her to alter shots around rim, rebound and finish around the basket. She knows that she must improve her skills and that will be a process. It will take time. Mickie DeMoss is very excited about getting a chance to work with Kennedy."
Great foresight, champion--now more than ever.
I wonder what the rules are regarding contact between Mickie and Kennedy? ...or between Mickie and Kennedy's coach?
Missing an entire year with "a project" just doubles the misfortune of her missing that ACT exam. I've proctored a lot of SATs and seen a lot of kids show up with wrong information--or having been told something different from what they printed out. Kennedy must have felt devastated.
Definitely a faith-tester of a situation.
What exactly happened with the ACT?
