Will Any LA Tech Players Be Invited to a 'Senior" Bowl or the NFL Combine?

Invites have started going out for the various "Senior" bowls and the NFL Combine. As best as I can tell there are only four senior bowls that invite Division I players this year - there is a "Dream Bowl" for Division II and III schools that seems to be a "Pay to Play" bowl.

Information is definitely coming out in dribs and drabs, but here are some links that might be of interest. Has anyone seen or heard any LA Tech names associated with any of the senior bowls or the NFL combine?

There are more slots not filled than filled at this point, but still no Louisiana Tech players that I am aware of. Hopefully that will change. We've had a decent NFL run for several years. I'd like to see it continue.

Sokol and Liggins are on the watch list for a new senior bowl this year, the College Gridiron Showcase that will be played January 31, 2015 in Arlington, TX.

We can mark the Medal of Honor Bowl off the list as having any Tech players since the game is tomorrow.

Looks like Mitchell Bell (NFLPA Collegiate Bowl) and Houston Bates (College Gridiron Showcase) might be Tech's only representatives this year. At this point it does not look like the College Gridiron Showcase will be televised. Hopefully that will change. Did anyone watch the NFLPA Bowl? If so, how did Bell play?

Great news about Sokol.

The Akron link pulls up the profile of the player listed below Sokol that is from Akron - Jawon Chisholm. Hopefully someone will fix that.

Hopefully someone will also decide to broadcast the game, even if it is only via the Internet. Great news about Sokol.
