11/22 @ Old Dominion game

A game against ODU shouldn't come down to special teams. We lost both our embarrassing games between the ears.

NW State was our fault. ODU whipped us, imo. But Sokol did throw a stupid pass that hurt us. If he checks down to Dixon, we are probably in FG range. I think our defense got whipped and our offense choked.

Hopefully the dawgs haven't been as preoccupied with championship games, bowls, and eligibility issues as we have.

We couldn't get the ball. ODU had it 3/4 of the second half. Couldn't stop them. They out-coached us, plain and simple. The Sokol interception was dumb though... Dixon was open in the flat for a 1st down.

We couldn't KEEP the ball would be a more accurate statement. Our offense SUCKED. Period. With six minutes to go in the 4th we had run...wait for it.... 9 plays for 19 yards. The defense was not lights out but played well enough to win. Anybody that says otherwise need not take a drug test for a while.

I have decided that our coaching staff does not know how to prepare a team for a game when we have a week off......week off, lose to nsu....week off, lose to odu.

Oh we had the ball alright. The defense gave us 4 or 5 turnovers. But the dropped passes in the first half eventually led to poor offensive play at other positions. And speaking of Dixon , I don't think he's as good as he used to be. He loks and acts hurt all the time. Fine. Put someone else in his place. Why didn't we use Tevin King more? He ran once for 11 yards, and I guess he never saw the field again. Just dumb.

We were pretty good in the 1st half. Didn't get the ball in the 2nd half. Dixon is very good, our OL is not good run-blockers.

Our offense sucked in the 2nd half. Played really good in the 1st half. 44 plays in the 1st half. 15 in the 2nd half. They did choke in the 4th quarter, imo.... but they didn't even play the 3rd quarter.... ODU had the ball the whole time.
