A number of them (a select few) are busy trying to come up with negative garbage to post and talk about on BB&B after our great win today.

No. It was going on well before the game was won. I just don't get the continual negativity. To me it appears that it does nothing but drive people away from TECH. Many wonder why we don't get press. Perhaps some of us just need to look in the mirror.

I do think our beat writers read this board and it affects their articles. They get a sense of what the fans are feeling. If our core is saying they are too emotionally drained to show up for the championship game, why would the media waste their time? It makes it sound like no one is interested in the team any more. Then 13,000 show up for the "big game." We are lucky they even mention us at all.

Saturday was an example of the official start date on Monday (Dec. 1) of the new North Louisiana Gannett.

Sharing reporters. Sharing photographers.

Sharing their stories and pix with the other Gannett papers in Alexandria, Lafayette, etc.

There have been forced retirements/layoffs. EVERYONE had to re-interview for their jobs. One photographer is out of a job cuz he didn't Instagram as much as another . . . .

So . . . . welcome to the new Gannett. You'll never know who the North Louisiana regional sports editor will send to your next game. . . . if he does.
