My thoughts exactly. The decision to shut down the program has already been made (Phase I). No need in crying over spilled milk. Time to move on to Phase II. Do they have any players that we want/need?

Do we have to add a replacement? CUSA is watered down enough in my opinion. They already jumped the gun adding fiu and fau. Maybe their BOT will decide to shut down football as well, who would really notice? No one will miss uab football that is for sure.

Played with unbalanced divisions this year -

I look for them to do the same next year with FIU having difficulty

However, I think they will have to add ONE if FIU settles out to get away from unbalanced divisions
