Amen! With UAB we were going up to 14 teams, without them we stay at 13. Even if FIU falters we will have the OPTIMAL number of 12. Leave it alone and make more money per team!

I think it would be prudent for C-USA to go after GA Southern at this time.

I know the arguments about watering down etc but I think it would also be important for the Conference to grab a strong program with a history of support and competitiveness. I know that they just moved up but they won the miserable Sunbelt and the Sunbelt and their commisioner aren't even supporting them going to a bowl. Their attendance averaged about 21K and they are in a part of the state where they can generate more with the other I-A's about 3 hrs away.

We (Tech) knew we wanted C-USA to take us because we would bring a strong tradition and winning program that would add to the conference's strength. We knew that other's knocked our market but luckily we were able to show our commitment and value.<br><br>

Played with unbalanced divisions this year -

I look for them to do the same next year with FIU having difficulty

However, I think they will have to add ONE if FIU settles out to get away from unbalanced divisions

Six months to make a decision in order for 1-year notice to be given by June 1.

I don't believe they would, any more than Troy has.

UAB has a handful of fans who are loyal. Obviously, most UAB grads think of themselves as Bama grads. UAB has had every opportunity to be successful. They were blessed to be a part of C-USA for years and never took advantage of it. I'm having a tough time feeling sorry for the program.

I don't believe they are in he same system. It looks like USA is their own seperate entity.
