    Very good article.

    And! this points out why universities should have MBAs as presidents, instead of someone with a degree in literature or females' studies! All universities should be run as a business. Managed! as a business would be, is a better way to put it. Now, that does NOT mean that all departments/programs need to generate a real profit or out they go! Some can be held as "cost centers." But, there should be no funny accounting, like pointed out in the article.

    Oh, and another point, isn't also funny how the powers-to-be who wanted FB gone contracted some consulting firm to produce a report with exactly what they needed to justify the move. Reminds me of another consultant's study....now, what was it again? Oh yeah! I remember. Bet you do too.
