There was no person named Brigham Young. It was some guy who made himself a leader in the early days of the Mormon church. He was known for his polygamy, paying for people to bring him brides. Asked once if he had a preference on how his brides should be brought to him, he replied, "I don't care how you bring them, just as long as you 'bring 'em young'."
