The Big 12's rules make Baylor their conference representative...
So, since the playoffs require a conf champ and the committee seems not so keen on Baylor, will they leave the Big 12 out and opt for Ohio State?
It was stupid to ever start this with 4 teams - everyone saw this coming. On your question, though, I thought Baylor and TCU split the B12 Championship. TCU's schedule should get them over the hump (even with the head to head game). Ohio State is my bet, though. B12 gets left out. We shall see.........Originally Posted by dawg80

The big 10 sucked this year and was probably the worst B10 ever. This is bullshit. Bama is going to roll OSU by 40. The B10 didn't beat a ranked team outside of the Big 10. People gave Marshall shit all year about there schedule but OSU beats a one dimensional team with a bad D and they are in. I won't watch any of these games now. No Texas teams is horseshit.
Comes down to no championship game (IMO). B12 will be expanding now - they don't have a choice.
I will watch Bama vs FSU. For the championship. OSU sucks shit in a sucky dying conference.

All the Big12 has to do is specifically define tie-breakers in order to name the conference champion. They didn't do that.
Also, I think next year, or very soon, they will add two or four teams and all P5 conference champs will get automatic bids.
