You guys are a hoot!
First, you all complain that Tech doesn't mimic Oregon, with ever-changing unis because "that's what 20-yr-olds want!" And now you complain about the VERY thing you were griping that you wanted!
Just to clarify, I have NEVER wanted us to be like Oregon. Still don't. Culturally, our states are as different as red vs. blue. ---Did I just say that?Originally Posted by dawg80

Since we will be traveling everybody (I assume) and have not had enough white helmets in the past for more than the normal travel party, did somebody buy some more helmets? If so, thanks!
Hunter Lee informed the officiating crew he would not be needing a helmet, white or otherwise. The officials promptly responded, "whatever you say sir."
They're practicing in red helmets it looks like. R/R/W?
Traveling does't mean dressing out in unis.

I think it is good that we have these combinations. Let the players choose what they want to wear, it is their bowl game after all. We just get to watch. I would rather we wear blue....but, I'm excited to see a white/red/white combo since we haven't done it yet.
I understand, but there will still be more dressing out than normally dress out for conference road games. I assume we picked up extra helmets for HOD since someone "in the know" had implied earlier in the year that we were short of white helmets.
