Sick at home today, so random thoughts from a Tamifludicated head:
We should hear from Brad in Utah. This is his special weekend!
I read this is one of two games the new staff added to the schedule (credit ACSlatech1994 for that info) and they'll be coming to Ruston next year. Utah plays a good schedule, with four top-25 teams showing now.
They really are Utes--ten sophomores or freshmen. Wicijowski is one of only two seniors. They recruit broadly west of the Mississip: 5 Californians, 3 Texans, ...3 Canuks! Not bad, eh?
Big arena (close to 16,000) but attendance Saturday should only be around 800, so let 'em know you're there Brad!
Hey Orange, hope you get well soon. Beware the OSU Beavers are coming to Knoxville 12/28,and they are looking pretty good. They just knocked off UNC and should be in the top 10 next week.
I checked. The extended forecast is calling for cold and rain. There goes our home court advantage.
Still have no idea what kind of team we have in KnoxVegas this year. It's really hard to say yet what anyone has this season. Chattanooga's Lady Mocs--who embarrassed the then #4 LadyVols 3 weeks ago--just beat #7 Stanford 54-46.
But more importantly, thank you for the curative wishes Beaver-Dog. After one day of seeing what the cat does while we're away at work, I'm now more terrorized than ill.
BTW: I don't remember. Did you weigh-in when we were posting about schools giving same or different names to their girls' teams?
Never mind. Rhetorical question.
I'm pretty sure I was part of that one.
This game should be a fairly good measure of where we are in the development of this team. Utah does not lose often at home and are on a 4 game win streak at their place. They did lose to some Anchorage team at home to start the season (exhibition? Didn't feel like looking it up). Loss at Ole Miss, but the rest of their games have not been against much power. They have gone to OT at home and will protect that floor. I would feel better if this was at Tech.
They have pretty tall team and a forward that will give Whitney a run for our money. I feel like Moten is going to have to be in this game and really show some development. If our shots don't fall early, they could destroy us in the first half. They will hit shots at home. We have to match their intensity and our defense has to be just as good as it was against Moo State.
Let's just hope Malcolm doesn't forget to get the game on All-Access this time!
Dominate post players always make for a good game and usually will get the "W", something the Techsters have not had in some years now!
Hopefully the Techsters can play like they did against Miss State and pull off the up=set on their home court today starting at 4:00 CST!
Good news, the game live radio broadcast on All-Access!
Looking good for the game so far!
Go Techsters!
I'm sitting in Dallas Fort Worth airport right now so I'm counting on you guys for updates!
wow, there pretty tall! let's hope our quickness will help...
Run, Run, Run, and hit those shots!
Have to deal with the altitude issue as well!
Techsters get tip and Frazier hits a 3! 3-0..

Techsters pressure working for the moment.. Techsters 3-2
