Why Aren't the local ZAXBY'S Stores Promoting their local University?

One of their 2 area stores is literally a few hundred yards OFF OUR CAMPUS'S FRONT DOOR. It has minimal signage promoting their bowl, and NOTHING that I saw promoting the fact that their local University is playing in it.

...just wondering.

If it were my store, I'd be promoting the heck out of my new store and it's tie in with Louisiana Tech. What a great opportunity to make up ground on the competition. Blown.

Arrogance. I don't expect them to be selling tickets, but I bet there is co-op money available for advertising with mentions of the game.

I'd call the manager. The local Zaxby's where I lived in Georgia was very supportive of the college in that town. The decor decisions are made locally.

Maybe if someone, or a group of someones, had some Tech memorabilia that they would like to donate, it could open the for for dialogue. I wonder if there is a school up the street that might have some jerseys, posters, or helmets laying around?

Its a consequence of being so close to the Tech offices, you lose all ability to market.

The Ruston location has walls covered with Tech this and that. It's not as if they don't promote the university. I would think they would promote the bowl game though.

I know you didn't think I was pointing my comment at you, but that would be he another awesome place for some of your fine work to be displayed. I actually have not been in the place to know what is on the walls there. From the discussion, I assumed nothing.

Off topic, but this reminded me that I saw a couple digital billboards in Shreveport (Lamar, I think) congratulating Tech on winning the Heart of Dallas Bowl. I don't know if anybody mentioned it on here.

They oughta congratulate us. We spend enough money with Lamar.
