So far, the biggest mistake that you and Reality Check make is that you guys pay too much attention to 6-6 teams. Those teams don't matter. Nobody gives a crap about a 6-6 Texas playing a6-6 Arkansas. Hell, Texas didn't even belong in a bowl game this year. The Longhorns are AWFUL this year. Swoopes is the worst QB in America, bar none.

I pay attention to 6-6 teams because the bowl eligibility rules say we have to. I would be all for NCAA rules requiring all 7-5 teams to be placed in bowls before any 6-6 teams can be.

I agree with you about Arkansas belonging. That's a team on the way UP.

I think that's the probem with letting 6-6 teams be bowl qualified: You get some terrible mismatches....some teams that really belong (e.g., Arkansas), and some the simply slide in due to their reputation and weak OOC schedule.

There was never any doubt that OSU was going to leap over TCU in that final poll.

No one will ever be able to convince me that OSU was able to beat Wisconsin 59-0 without the Badgers taking a phantom punch. Im fairly sure Wisconsin may have been rewarded very handsomely for it. If the game is close or OSU loses, the Big 10 has no representative in the playoffs, which would be a huge financial loss.
