Orgeron and Miles in one city? That's a whole lot of mouth breathing. Diaz stays, in my opinion.
I think lsu will up their offer and keep Chavis. The real risk might be A&M. Wouldn't they love to hold that over UT's head.....
Diaz is not mentioned in the BR papers
Why can't good things last?
I'm sure we will lose Diaz, but to lose him to LSPoo would be hurtful!
While listening to the Orange Bowl on the radio last night, the announcers made the comment that Diaz is being talked about in Miss. St. circles as a possible candidate to be their next DC. This sucks.
Mississippi State also in the mix of considering Diaz. As I watched Boise St. Upset Arizona- Why do they and East Carolina seem to keep evaluating their football programs and we seem to be "off and on " and not consistent. Very frustrating.
Mississippi state is the real threat.
...if money is his only motivation. From a career standpoint I don't see that. There may not be a more difficult job in the sec than the DC job at Miss. State. He did it once and was successful, why (other than money) would he try that again, risk failure and hurting his career?
If Diaz leaves, I hope Holtz offers Randy Shannon the DC gig.
Have you considered those Dogs?
I suppose it would have been too much to ask for our "contract drawer uppers" to get a home game from whoever ends up hiring him.
Diaz got a phone call from Hunter Lee demanding that he stay on at Tech a little longer. Need I spell out what the required answer was?
Sorry, one more HL joke for fun! Man I'm gonna miss that kid.
Okay, back to the OP.
