I think we will be fine talent wise on Defense. The concern is getting a new guy in with a completely different philosophy and him doing a 180 on what is working. That will be on Holtz, but based on two big changes he made last year, I give him the benefit of the doubt.Originally Posted by MiloBumP

Orgeron coached for the Saints one year. He did like the area well enough to stay put on the North Shore.

If this article is correct, Diaz is not even on LSU's radar. The article is a couple of days old and things sometimes change quickly.

Nobody forgot. He got screwed by Brown at Texas. He was the DC at Miss State before that and a position coach at NCSt before that. All three are "major" colleges.How quickly we forget what happened at Texas.

As he should. He was very successful there and is a great fit. I'm hopeful we can keep everybody else and run a similar scheme.
tough for fan but I feel for the players-- its a bussiness, I get that , but you give your heart and soul to a coach-play your guts out, thru injury i.e Villimez and your father figure looking to bail on you -- post what you want but it has to hurt as a player . Hopefully Coach has replacement on backburner ready .... IF
