    Roughriders Extend Weldon Brown's Contract

    Former Louisiana Tech linebacker Weldon Brown has signed for a third year with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, his sixth year in the CFL.

    The Regina Leader Post reports that Weldon originally signed with the Edmonton Eskimos.

    I coached Weldon in high school. I can't think of a person more deserving of success than Weldon! Good job and good luck for many more years bud!
