Louisiana Tech University
Flagship of the University of Louisiana System
We can't find 200 people in Texas or is that 200 new plates per year?
I've got mine, LTU-70
I have a corporate car. This is the ONLY disadvantage...... Can't get one....
are you sure it's not 200 per year? if total that is pitiful. i've bought three over the years and seen dozens around here (Houston)
Its 200 total active plates. I have talked to Dr. G about this, last time was the week of the bowl game. I am in contact with my plates on a regular basis about this.
I started this plate process and have been pushing it whenever I can, but it hasn't ever been run with by the university. It's not a big thing in the grand scheme, but it does mean something to me. That said I'm tired, and come November 2015 the plate will cease to exist barring we hit the 200 threshold. We are on a one year probation that started in November if I remember the email.
My wife and I have two plates.
5,000 alumni in the Metroplex & close to that in Houston. Come on Man!

Were beating ULL. I had personal plates but its not worth the cost. I have my chrome la tech badge on my car and thats all I will ever put on it.
Last time I counted from the Alumni Directory (2005) there were about 3600 in Houston or within about 100 miles. I counted from as far east as Orange, as far north as Livingston and as far west as Bryan/College Station and as far south as Victoria. So it's probably up some since then. I may have a newer directory but I haven't recounted them.
I already have another set of personalized plates on my car, kinda wish you could do 2 with the same numbers.
