Back in the Eagles era we played MFSU in a home and home. The game in Ruston was a classic come-back by the Dawgs, a 71-70 win. We trailed by some 15 points in the 2nd half, and by 8-10 pts with about 3 mins left, or so. That same year, both teams went to the NCAA's. We beat LaSalle in the 1st round and the MUTTS rallied to beat Florida State closing the game on a 26-0 run. Yes, 26 unanswered points!
During the Russo and Eagles eras some great basketball was played in the TAC.
Let me be clear - our men's team is pretty hit or miss this year.
I have no idea which one we'll see today - the good Raiders who beat Akron on the road and annihilated FAU at home OR the team that shot 20% against Murray State and Auburn...
