I think a press conference with the President and A.D. means they will reinstate. Otherwise, they would rather keep it to a released statement to avoid the embarrassment of angry people that will attend. They are going to be way behind the 8 ball, though, if they start it back.

Charlotte had 2 years at FCS
UTSA had 1 year at FCS before joining the WAC.

I think they will need at least 2 years to recruit before they play a game. 2017 as FCS independent. 2018 as C-USA transitional. 2019 as full C-USA member.

What a crazy situation.

If they had half-way done their due diligence, they could have saved the school thousands of dollars without cutting football. Not to mention the fact that they had only just managed to get the program to a halfway decent level and they cut the feet out from under themselves. So stupid.
