Are you saying they were never the Jazz? I'm not talking about the "blood line" of Pelicans traced back to Charlotte. I'm talking about the NO team names over the years.

New Orleans had an NBA franchise called the N.O. Jazz which moved to Utah. I was referring to the evolution of the current franchise in New Orleans (from Charlotte to now).
Yeah, I knew that's what you meant after I thought a second. But I was just talking about the progression of the NO team's names over the years, not their lineage. And, I, too, thought Johnny Manziel when I saw the pic.
