    It's gotta be at least a 10 or 11 hour drive from Dallas to El Paso. They are isolated. The HS football sucks there. Terrible situation.

    El Paso is too far from anywhere. You can barely make it in one day from Houston and that's with the new higher speed limits out west of San Antonio. And that's a very long day.

    But scattered around west Texas you've got some talent/history.

    Problem is, it's really scattered (and the best of them would end up in Lubbock).
