Love to see us cut ticket prices in half, let kids in free to final game or sell $2 tickets in blue or something to sell TAC out. These seniors deserve to play in a sold out TAC for all they have done last 4 years. Crowds have been pretty good but still over 2k empty seats. I have season tickets which come out to $7/game but I constantly hear about how much it costs to attend a game for a family. I think prices are too high for GA and have hurt our attendance this year. $15 for adults and $12 for kids is too high. It's been a great year and they have made more money than ever in basketball ticket sales so let's reward fans and team by packing the house.
Also finals are this week so student attendance will not be that great more than likely so another reason to do something special for the team given the opportunity before us. We haven't won an outright championship in 16 years!
To much like right. It is a nice thought though.
This will be the first game I've been able to make this year if the weather isn't to bad. Some predictions for winter weather for Thursday. Even more reason to offer some sort of discount to get people in the stands.
Actually Tuesday is the last day of classes so students have ZERO excuse not to be here.

I handed out freebies before the last two home games. 10 tickets for 70 dollars is as inexpensive as it needs to be. I told everybody I handed a ticket to about the deal. This should be a door to door approach by someone in sales to every business in Ruston.
I don't see why they haven't done a student dunk competition with student judges at halftime. The "fitness" challenge deal is a flop imo.
Also, "honor roll" students get in free night might be cool for Caddo/Bossier/Webster/Ouachita/Lincoln parish high schoolers. You'd need someone from Tech to go to the schools and push the event with the counselors. That could serve as a recruiting tool for the university as well. Of course, maybe providing participants with pizza or something before the game might help.

What an incredible night Thursday is gonna be. Speedy, Mike, and Raheem will play their final home game. Become the winningest trio in Bulldog history and get to cut down the nets to cap off an incredible night. It gives me chills just thinking about it. To look at where this program was when they came in as freshmen and to see where they are going to leave it when they leave as seniors is truly remarkable. Three of the all-time greats to ever put on a Bulldog uniform. The TAC needs to be sold out to let these guys know how special they really are.
