CUSA decided this this morning. TM tweeted it pretty much right away. Still too late, but not his fault.

No, he didn't. MTSU's AD tweeted "Received word from UAB that all students get in free for semis and finals. Great way for MT students to end spring break!" at 8:26 AM, almost 2 hours before McClelland. T-Mac probably just slept in.

Regardless, it's ridiculous and unfair to change a policy mid-tournament for the sole purpose of getting more UAB students at the UAB-Tech semifinal game.

That's exactly what it seems like to me--basically giving UAB a rowdy student section for today's game.

In terms of the game itself, we need Alex to play with an edge today. He doesn't need to force things, but he has to be aggressive and efficient.

Yep. That's really the only explanation for this, especially since MTSU's AD said the word came from UAB. Having a donor buy tickets for students is one thing, but changing a policy mid-tournament to let students in for free should not have been allowed.
