Tech in Town - Little Rock

It was a great evening. We had about 30-40 people come out last night. Tommy and Skip sat at our table of former BOP members. We were the more animated bunch out of the alumns.

Listing amount of technology companies coming to North Louisiana and how Tech is playing a role in building the workforce
Comment that it's an easy 3 hr drive down to Ruston than to NW Arkansas - hinting to send your kids to Tech not Arkansas

Carlos Henderson is one of the fastest players he ever coached. He's up there with Deon Sanders.
Dixon would break the NCAA record for most TD if he match last years performance.
Arkansas game will be played in Fayetteville in 2016

I truly believe these events are part of the changing face of promotion and fundraising at Louisiana Tech. The "old guard" is either gone, or going, and the future is bright.

I remember having similar events BDR, but usually in the smaller towns w/in 100 miles of Ruston.

We had one in Lafayette, when Dooley was first hired, then nothing, now we've had it for the past two years in a row. Good stuff!

Dooley made the rounds in his 1st two years. I'm sure you recall he made the "Elite" statement during his roadshow. His promotional tour was more about football than all sports and LaTech.
