Uh, he put the player's initials in an earlier post. Only one person on the team with those initials.

Help me out here Rhino-- you know his dad , no idea whether he shared in confidence or not.... point has always been we sometimes post stuff without knowing injury issues ... now I will agree that die hards could figure out pretty quick but I think its pretty dam tough of the young man to play with that bad an injury -- if it were my son I would have no problems posting it, but HIPPA may come after me --- their is combo-- a hippa and a rhino ... i'd need to be a Giraffe to get away....
Nothing was shared with me. I learned all I know through this thread. Yes, to play with a fractured bone requires both physical and mental toughness. To do so in a game where you are playing purely for the sake of future playing time, not for a W in the regular season, demonstrates a great deal of want and desire, not bad things for anyone "wanting" to compete at this level. Now, would I have been as explicit in posting if I thought the info I had was given to me in confidence? Probably not. You don't have to be a die hard to figure this out; you just need to know the alphabet. Not busting your chops here, just telling it like I see it.
If someone does not tell you what you do not know....then you still do not know it. Sometimes it is best to leave some people on a need to know basis!
