Baseball. Bulldogs Shut Out FIU for 1-0 Victory

After both Louisiana Tech and FIU combined to score 34 runs in the doubleheader Saturday, the two teams combined for just one run Sunday afternoon as the Bulldogs shut out the Panthers and closed the door on a 1-0 victory to salvage the three-game road series.

I have seen the no quit aspect of this team. They could have packed it in today after playing for over 10 hours yesterday and.losing 2 very close games. I like the direction this program is going.Originally Posted by Rooster

It is amazing those two teams played two extra inning games on a Saturday and then on Sunday there is only one run between them. I figured both teams would have depleted their pitching. Nice.
It's time to close the doors to the Temple of Janus.
We used our Sunday starter in relief for game 2. The other two guys really did well to take up the slack and Goff may now rethink his rotation. We need some new/good baseball juju going into the last 4 weeks.
