Dear Lord, thank you for finally bringing us the baseball season.
It's time to close the doors to the Temple of Janus.
The Cubs-Cardinals game last night was CRAZY.

$10 million salary in 2015 for Feldman and he's a former Ranger.
Wandy Rodriguez (former Astro) pitched for the Rangers. According to baseballreference.com his 2015 salary is $507,000. This salary comes after several years of earning over $10 million a year for the Pirates.
I have a love/hate relationship with free agency.
The Astros look great this year. Amazing, quick rebuild job by Jeff Luhnow and staff. Cubs have awesome, young talent. When they get their pitching straight they are going to be really tough for many years. Cardinals just keep winning somehow. Off to best start in their history, but their bullpen is going to be totally worn out in the first two months of the season if the current trend continues.
The Cardinals are the best run professional sports organization. They are almost never bad. I am not a football guy, but it appears the Pittsburg Steelers may be a close second.

Anybody ready for a road trip to St. Louis for a Cubs/Cardinals series? They play again tonight and tomorrow and again June 26th - 28th in St. Louis. The final series in St. Louis is a 3 game series starting Labor Day. I may try to make a game or two of the September series if there is a pennant race.
