Jordan Mills may be on the hot seat -- his injury really hurt his blocking and there are a lot of people who aren't sure if he's the guy for the job. I think he'll step up to the task with a healthy foot but we'll see how practices progress.

Any Idea why he isn't practicing?

Does it say he's not practicing? AFAIK he's just on the ropes due to less than stellar performance. He did well as a rookie but I think the ankle injury really threw off his game, and the pundits are not sure about his future as a starter. For now he's safe but that could change.
Article said Bushrod unable, Mills not in attendance.
Kyle Long continues to work at right tackle for BearsAnd bonus basketball: Should the Utah Jazz bring back Paul Millsap?Guard Kyle Long continued his work at right tackle in the Bears’ first practice of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. And he could have more time to impress at the position with tackles Jermon Bushrod and Jordan Mills remaining spectators because of unspecified injuries.(I think this would be unwise of Paul)Speculation is out there, reports that Paul Millsap could rejoin the Jazz as a free agent this summer.
D-Mo hoping to make a comeback in the league -- sending videos to scouts and GMs. Here's his highlight vid from last year in Texas arena league (footage quality is suspect).

Niners Receivers Coach Eager for Patton to Get Opportunity49ers WR Patton looks like a different player“Quinton Patton has always flashed (potential),” said Curry. “He’s going to get a real opportunity to go out there and see what he can do. I’ve been here since he was a rookie, and just to see him grow as a player and a person is great to see. He’s always been dedicated, he’s always been focused, he’s always worked hard, he’s smart and it’s going to be interesting to see how he does in this camp.”WHAT KIND OF IMPACT WILL DAN WILLIAMS AND JUSTIN ELLIS HAVE ON THE RAIDERS D?“I feel like last year he could’ve stepped in and made some plays for us,” Bethea said. “This year, he’s having the opportunity to go make a name for himself, fight for the position, and that’s what he’s going to do.”First off, to get that caliber of player in the fourth round a year ago was a freaking steal. And that is where Justin Ellis comes in. When your'e 6-foot-2 and 327 pounds, as Williams is, you're not built for playing 15 snaps in a row...you'r built for three of four, give it everything you've got and then take a blow.
Let Dan Williams muck things up for four downs, enter a fresh, 6-foot-1, 330 pound Justin Ellis
Giants 90-man roster breakdown: LB Tony JohnsonHe faces perhaps the longest odds of making the 53-man roster of any player the Giants will bring to training camp. Still, he will be in camp. That means he has a chance.
Roosevelt Falls returned a fumble during the Voodoo-Predators game last night. Actually hadn't heard anything about him since my freshman year, was watching the Voodoo game replay just now and there he was!
