Gonna start putting KD news in here.
http://www.windycitygridiron.com/201...-barry-sandershttp://thedraftwire.usatoday.com/201...kenneth-dixon/Kenneth Dixon might just be the best football player you have never heard of. I'm here to change that. Notice I didn't say "running back", I said "football player".Dixon may not be a 20-25 carries a game type of back, but he can be a valuable asset to any offense in the hands of the right coordinator. His ability to wear several hats and still perform at a high level should earn Dixon at least a rotational role with his first NFL team sooner rather than late
From the NFL scouting report:
As explosive as Dixon is laterally, he doesn’t have the burst and acceleration you’d expect moving forward. He’ll drift through the hole on occasion, and lacks a second gear to really pull away in the open field. His long speed is certainly acceptable, but he’s not a true vertical burner. Fumbles are an issue too, as Dixon has put the ball on the turf 14 times during his four-year career.
I would say he has solved the fumbling issue. And yeah, he doesn't have true burner vertical speed, so he won't be breaking many 80 yarders in the NFL. But, he will be going 30-40 yards on plays, and that is good enough to create scoring drives. Mostly, he can catch!!!! KD is gonna make an NFL OC very, very, very happy.
Please no. I was able to move on from following the Jags after Luke and Josh left. Don't make me go back.
http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2016/1/...-kenneth-dixonIn many ways, Dixon was a one man show offense. He ran the ball between the tackles. He was a home run hitter. He caught passes. He blocked. He scored a lot of touchdowns. He was a football Swiss Army Knife.
http://www.redskins.com/news-and-eve...9-5ef2fb258eb1Linebackers Houston Bates and Carlos Fields played limited reps on defense but played a critical role on special teams.
Houston Bates is making his mark as a special teams specialist. He played in 10 games this year --mostly on special teams. He had 9 tackles, including a safety. Here's a neat little story about how he got "called up" after being on the practice squad for 7 games:

Driskel is the main prospect mentioned here but Dixon is also mentioned and there was another article about the Cowboys being interested in him.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/page/...l-32-nfl-teamsRemember that classic sketch in "Chappelle's Show" when, in one breath, Rick James claimed he never grinded his muddy boots into Eddie Murphy's suede couch but in the next breath said he remembered doing exactly that? Cue Niners wide receiver Quinton Patton. "I'm not the biggest trash-talker on the team," he told me before I told him some teammates thought he was. "I guess I am, then." The 6-foot, 204-pound Patton, who caught a career-high 30 passes for 394 yards and his first TD this season, could often be found jawing with opponents much larger than he -- so long as he had numbers in his favor, as in teammates, behind him. Unless he was fighting with Niners D-lineman Tank Carradine in training camp. "I don't know if QP's the biggest trash-talker," running back Mike Davis said, "but he definitely talks the most."
Quinton Patton, Trash Talker?

Wasn't impressed with Wentz in the Sr.Bowl. Thought Dak and Driskell made the most impressions at QB, but that's just me.
JD did fine. He certainly didn't hurt his chances. How much it helped...I can't really say. If he is drafted it'll be a late round. Worst case is he'll be invited to an NFL camp, even if he goes undrafted. If he sticks with it, he can make an NFL roster. Might be as a 3rd stringer, but he can make a roster. Eventually, after a few years of holding a clipboard, he will probably get his chance to show what he can do. Then, it'll be up to him to make the most of the opportunity.
