    Adairius Barnes

    http://www.detroitnews.com/story/spo...olts/90253338/
Linebacker Antwione Williams, safety Miles Killebrew, tight end Cole Wick, cornerback Adairius Barnes and offensive tackle Corey Robinson also saw their first NFL action.

“You belong here,” Lions defensive back coach Tony Oden told him. “You belong here.”
    http://www.detroitnews.com/story/spo...odds/89971170/
He wasn’t highly recruited out of high school and ended up at Louisiana Tech, a D-1 school, but not exactly a powerhouse. The Bulldogs have put together three nine-win seasons the past five years, but they’ve never finished ranked in the top 25.
    Thanks for the glowing praise.

    http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf..._barnes_j.html
"It means absolutely everything to me," Barnes said. "It's a childhood dream. Coming in as a free agent, the odds basically against me from the start, having that last chance to show what I've got. It means the world to me.
    Houston Bates

    http://www.redskins.com/news/article...c-9f3274953d4b
Houston Bates is now listed as the No. 2 weakside linebacker behind Ryan Kerrigan with Trent Murphy behind Preston Smith at the strongside linebacker position. Bates will likely be a key cog on special teams, but the second-year Louisiana Tech product would surely like to contribute on defense if given the opportunity.
    Jordan Mills

    http://www.mpnnow.com/sports/2016090...-futile-appeal
Jordan Mills will start at right tackle after taking over the job once Henderson was sidelined in December.
    Jelly Ellis

    http://www.raiders.com/news/article-...7-20c06b1215fb
“We’re more outdoorsy,” said Ellis. “We do stuff like ride dirt bikes, and fish, and hunt, we do stuff like that – in North Louisiana anyway. South Louisiana is different. I’m from North Louisiana. Monroe is in North Louisiana, but football is big at home.”
    Myles White

    http://www.pressherald.com/2016/09/1...oulder-injury/
New York signed outside linebacker Victor Ochi and wide receiver Wendall Williams to the practice squad, and released running back Raheem Mostert and wide receiver Myles White.
    Paul Turner

    http://www.csnphilly.com/philadelphi...practice-squad
The Eagles recently made a huge, franchise-altering move that created buzz throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding region. Forget the Sam Bradford trade. They cut Paul Turner!
    Quinton Patton

    http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...=341424&spln=1
Quinton Patton caught 5-of-5 targets for 60 yards in the 49ers' Week 1 win over the Rams.
    Ryan Allen

    http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/p...akes_the_grade
Punter Ryan Allen only kicked twice but netted 40.5 yards and gave dangerous Patrick Peterson little room to run.
    Vernon Butler

    http://thesportsquotient.com/nfl/201...es-from-week-1
The former Louisiana Tech Bulldog displayed the type of upper body strength and push up the middle that made him a first round selection, and his development gives the Panthers the kind of depth up front that Super Bowl contenders must possess.

Injuries Around the League: Week 3

    12. Panthers defensive tackle Vernon Butler suffered a high-ankle injury and didn't return in Carolina's 22-10 loss to the Vikings.
    14. Browns cornerback Tramon Williams suffered a shoulder injury and left in the second half.

    Houston Bates

    http://www.redskins.com/news/article...6-68b2ef6bbf05
Before his acrobatic catch on the fake punt, special teams ace Houston Bates told Dunbar he was confident that the second-year Florida product would make the catch and turn around his day.
    Jordan Mills

    http://billswire.usatoday.com/2016/0...ffense-grades/
Right tackle Jordan Mills was inconsistent, being flagged twice and allowing a tackle-for-loss, but there wasn’t any blatant whiffs and he didn’t surrender a single quarterback pressure, according to Pro Football Focus.
    Kenneth Dixon

    http://thesportsquotient.com/nfl/201...ter-nfl-week-1
Once rookie Kenneth Dixon gets involved in the running game (he has a minor knee injury), the Ravens will be just fine offensively and more than capable of showing that on a week-in, week-out basis.
    Kentrell Brice

    http://www.jsonline.com/story/sports...dary/90497312/
In the bigger picture of what was an exciting game, Brice's contribution is largely insignificant. But given the health of Shields, who is unlikely to play against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night, Brice is almost certainly the next man up if the secondary suffers any further injuries.
    Paul Turner

    http://www.phillymag.com/birds247/20...oster-georgia/
As long as miracle-worker Paul Turner and his golden hands are safe on the practice squad, I'm OK with the move.
    Ryan Allen

    http://myinforms.com/en-us/a/4180024...ield-position/
Just as impressive on the special teams unit was Ryan Allen. The punter consistently pinned the Texans in their own zone during punts, forcing Houston to start with poor field position throughout the game.
    http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/09/2...triots-texans/
First lets start with Ryan Allen. The booming directional punts that pinned the Texans inside the 20 on every occasion is one of the reasons after the game, there was a crowd by his locker. He averaged over 49 yards per punt and in a game where the Pats played field position. Ryan Allen got the job done.
    http://clnsradio.com/new-england-pat...ll-they-played
Lastly, Ryan Allen deserves his fair share of the credit here. The Texans average starting position on the night was the 15 yard line. If they wanted to score a touchdown they consistently needed to drive 80-90 yards which is a tough feat in Gillette against a hyped up defense. Ryan Allen had 7 punts, 6 landing within the 20 yard line, and 5 of those being within the 15 yard line. This play earned a “Ryan Allen, maybe even the team MVP this game” by Rubenstein.
    Vernon Butler

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-ankle-sprain/
Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Vernon Butler will miss time after suffering a high-ankle sprain in Sunday’s 22-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

According to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, Butler had a cast on his injured right foot in the team’s locker room on Monday. Butler was injured when linebacker Thomas Davis fell into Butler’s leg while making a tackle on Vikings’ running back Jerick McKinnon.

The injury is expected to keep Butler out for several weeks.

Butler had played on 44 percent of Carolina’s defensive snaps over the first two games while serving in a reserve role. He had just 10 snaps against Minnesota before leaving with an injury. Butler has recorded three tackles, a sack and a pass defended through three games.

    Jordan Mills

    http://www.todayspigskin.com/pigskin...d-michael-ola/
The Buffalo Bills were forced to finish off their 16-0 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday without the services of starting right tackle Jordan Mills.
    KD

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday he wants rookie Kenneth Dixon to have more involvement going forward.
    http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/201...ould-break-out
Ravens’ fans have been waiting for Dixon’s breakout game. It might not come in the ground game, but Dixon could be primed to make a lot of noise through the air.
    Kentrell Brice (29)

    http://www.jsonline.com/story/sports...ears/92514272/
Kentrell Brice (13), the dime safety, took a great angle from the numbers and delivered a crushing hit on WR Cameron Meredith. He is so explosive.

    Myles White

    http://nfltraderumors.co/jets-sign-w...ronald-martin/ Ryan Allen

    http://usatodayhss.com/2016/ryan-all...t-for-patriots
That Allen is in his fourth year with the Patriots makes him the longest tenured punter for the team this century.
    Tramon Williams

    http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/p...k-across-field
Cornerback Tramon Williams worked in front of Wright and picked it off.
    Vernon Butler

    http://catcrave.com/2016/10/24/panth...tting-healthy/
Before injuring his ankle, Butler was showing flashes of why the team made him their first round selection. His return should provide the Panthers’ pass rush with a much needed spark as they’ve recorded just six sacks over the past three weeks, and just 12 all season.

Kentrell Brice just made an amazing goal line tackle to save a TD for the Packers. Excellent awareness and picking up a blown coverage by the CB to save it.

the Packers secondary got banged up so bad - they are playing everybody out of position. They got burned last night by the Redskins.
Kentrell Brice played ok - got hurt while trying to stop a long TD pass.

    Houston Bates

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ou-a-meathead/
“I just put it in my green smoothie in the morning,” Houston Bates said. “Spinach, kale, blueberry, strawberry and protein. That’s what goes down the hatch every morning.”
    IK

    http://buffalonews.com/2016/11/15/bi...ee-agents-nfl/
IK Enemkpali: He’s listed here based strictly on his age, 25. Before tearing the ACL in his right knee during the preseason, Enemkpali had done little to show he was ready for an expanded role on defense in place of Lawson. His struggles are what led the Bills to turn to Alexander in the first place. Still, Ryan has a soft spot for Enemkpali, so it’s possible he gets another chance.
    http://payposter.com/poster/ik-enemk...k-jets-3154540

    Jordan Mills

    http://buffalonews.com/2016/11/15/bi...ee-agents-nfl/
RT Jordan Mills: He’s played all but one snap in starting the first nine games of the season, but his play has tailed off lately, particularly against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football. That has led coach Rex Ryan to suggest Seantrel Henderson could push Mills for the starting job. If Henderson ends up doing just that, Mills would become far less of a priority to re-sign.
Mills is playing for his job now.

    Jellybean Ellis

    http://www.raiders.com/news/article-...8-b2692777e786
“I think the best thing I had was… the empanada. That’s the best thing I had over there, it was so good. I guess because it was fresh and it was authentic.”
    Kenneth Dixon

    https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/news...ld-touches.php
Dixon out-snapped Terrance West and received a season high 17 touches in Sunday’s victory. Dixon hasn’t completely taken over the starting job just yet, but clearly has more upside than West moving forward.
    Kentrell Brice

    http://www.wisconsinrapidstribune.co...urts/94201324/
Q: Gaze into that crystal ball. Who is a guy on the team that might not be well-known right now but could emerge as a key guy in the seasons to come?

Cobb: He has been getting some more playing time lately with some of the injuries we've had in the back end, but (safety Kentrell) Brice - No. 29. I definitely think with more experience and more opportunity, he's going to continue to come along. He's a big hitter, and he has the range to be able to play sideline to sideline. So I'm interested to see his growth over the next couple of years.
    Myles White

    https://www.sny.tv/jets/news/jets-ad...quad/207799926
White was released from the Jets' practice squad on Oct. 26. The wide receiver spent last year with the Giants, recording seven receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Paul Turner is signed to the active roster but sees no action.

    Quinton Patton

    http://ninerswire.usatoday.com/2016/...or-concussion/
The four-year veteran is the 49ers second-leading receiver this season with 30 catches for 362 yards.
    http://www.49ers.com/news/article-3/...e-dffb6e57184a
“I’d want everything in there, all in one restaurant,” Patton began. “I want a hibachi grill, and then I want a little Waffle House because they don’t have that out here on the West Coast. You’d have your American food, you’d have your seafood, Italian food, everything will be there. You can come in there and make up an order and, I’ll be like, ‘OK, I’ve got you.’”
    Ryan Allen

    http://www.patriots.com/video/2016/1...job-ryan-allen

    Vernon Butler

    http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireSto...aints-43628481
With the Saints looking to cut Carolina's lead to seven in the second quarter, Vernon Butler blocked a 38-yard field goal attempt and Luke Kuechly returned it 73 yards to set up a Carolina touchdown before halftime.

Joe Flacco loves to check down to running backs and Kenneth Dixon can flourish because of this. Once he has the ball, he is very hard to tackle. At only a height of 5’10, he knows how to stay low and is able to break tackles. There have been many times where Dixon has looked down in the backfield, but has evaded defenders and gained positive yards.
