That's outstanding. Congrats to Turner. Only the Eagles could be stupid enough to leave Turner on practice squad for half the season and not realize he should have been playing all along. This is why the Eagles are cellar dwellers in the NFC East.

    Adarius Barnes

    http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nf...rnes/96222956/
Whether to a wise teammate or to a stranger on a plane, Barnes has shown grace, humility and fortitude as he fights his way into an unforgiving business. And Saturday night is the payoff.
    Jordan Mills

Pro Football Focus ranked the Bills' offensive line 11th in the NFL this past regular season. Its top-ranked player, left guard Richie Incognito, was named to the Pro Bowl as an injury replacement last week. Also blocking for the Bills' top-ranked running game were left tackle Cordy Glenn (11 games/11 starts), left tackle Cyrus Kouandjio (12 games/five starts), center Eric Wood (nine games/nine starts), center Ryan Groy (16 games/seven starts), right guard John Miller (16 games/16 starts) and right tackle Jordan Mills (16 games/16 starts). McCoy might have also gifted watches to top tight ends Charles Clay and Nick O'Leary, as well as fullback Jerome Felton.

The New York Jets announced that they’ve signed three players to reserve/future contracts on Wednesday including FB Julian Howsare, WR Myles White and WR Deshon Foxx.
    Quinton Patton

    http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/fi...ceiving-corps/
It's possible things could look much different at wide receiver for the 49ers next season given that Quinton Patton, Jeremy Kerley, and Rod Streater are all slated for unrestricted free agency. It's hard to know at this point if any of them will be re-signed given the fact the team still doesn't have a general manager, but Kerley and Patton have the best chance of getting an offer. Patton has just 73 catches for 880 yards and a touchdown in four seasons with the 49ers, but it isn't out of the question the new regime might decide to try to continue to get more from him.

    Trent Taylor

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...s-trent-taylor
Taylor regularly turns Louisiana Tech practices into his own little circus. He catches punts behind his back and between his legs, and his pass-catching theatrics would play well with the Harlem Globetrotters.

    Carlos Henderson

    http://draftanalyst.com/da-draft-buzz-february-8th
Last week I mentioned Carlos Henderson as one of two sleepers at the wide receiver spot few have mentioned. Since then I continue to hear nothing but positive buzz on the Louisiana Tech junior, who some say will not get out of the second round.

There have been questions about his size, specifically his height, but I am told Henderson will measure a shade over 5-feet/11-inches. He is expected to run under 4.4s in the forty at the combine, with some believing he could drop into the 4.35s area.

I’m told Henderson has received high praise from rival coaches in Conference USA. When asked they’ve told league scouts Henderson was impossible to cover.
    Kenneth Dixon

    http://ebonybird.com/2017/02/05/kenn...t-2017-season/
The Ravens haven’t had a play-maker quite like this in sometime. Justin Forsett was a nice bandage on the position, but the Ravens needed more for their backfield remedy. Terrance West has massive potential as well. However Dixon has a chance to be special. He scored the second most touchdowns in the history of College Football. He made plays every which way, and made players miss in every direction at Louisiana Tech. Dixon just needs the chance to shine. If the Ravens commit to giving him 20 to 25 touches a game, he will have a monster 2017 season.
    Kentrell Brice

    http://www.acmepackingcompany.com/20...olid-depth-nfl
Heading into 2017, Brice projects as the team’s top reserve safety. That role could increase should Burnett spend more of his time as a de facto linebacker in certain sub packages.
    Myles White

    http://www.hometownlife.com/story/sp...eams/96795620/
In favor of Tampa Bay, Myles decided to re-sign with the Jets. It seemed to be the best fit for him going forward into 2017.
    http://www.thesportster.com/football...roger-goodell/
He commented on the same press conference as Torrey Smith. White was far more blunt and to the point, claiming “This dude is up here telling lies.. It’s unbelievable”. While this may have been the simplest of the tweets aimed at Goodell during his rambling, circular conference, it was also effective demonstrating what a politician he is and how he is seen by the players in the league.
    Quinton Patton

    http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/s...in-2017-012117
At best, Patton is a No. 4 receiver on an OK depth chart. And while the 49ers need all the help they can get at the position, it’s pretty clear Patton isn’t going to be a long-term answer.
    http://www.ninersnation.com/2017/1/2...ent-separation
Of all players on this list, Quinton Patton's place at fourth in the top 10 is the most surprising. Through four years, the 2013 fourth-round pick has just 73 career catches and has scored just once. His 2016 stat line added just 408 more yards to his resume. Nevertheless, Patton's separation numbers are intriguing, especially as his usage isn't one of a gadget player. Patton's 10.2 air yards per target are within striking distance of the 10.4 NFL average.
    Ryan Allen

    https://realsport101.com/news/sports...ter-ryan-allen
I put my head down and work on my craft every single day and go to work. That’s my job and that’s all I’m really focused on.
    Trent Taylor

    http://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rou...78c31e52c.html
“I think it’s huge for us,” Taylor said. “Anybody coming from a smaller school, all you hear is you don’t play good competition and it doesn’t add up right with all of your stats that you put up, but I think all of us, Chad, the guy from Tulane (Smart), had great weeks and proved we can play on the next level with anybody.”
    http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bucs/n...taylor/2312200
"We always played a couple of Power-5 teams each year, and I put up the same numbers against them that I did against conference opponents. That's why it doesn't make sense to me when people try to pull that card of not playing against good competition. When we played against Power-5 teams, nothing slowed down for me."
    http://raiderswire.usatoday.com/2017...-trent-taylor/
The ability to run the most (if not all) of the wide receiver route tree, in addition to his elite run after the catch skills, should make Taylor the ultimate weapon in the slot.

But I'd say Carlos' height gives him a distinct advantage.

    Carlos Henderson

    http://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/20...e-paul-turner/
“I had a good relationship with Paul Turner,” Henderson said at the Combine on Friday. “He’s a good guy, a hard worker. He taught me a lot on how to be disciplined. I look up to Paul Turner. That was one of the main guys I looked forward to on the team.”
    http://rosterwatch.com/2017-dynasty-...louisiana-tech
polished, swiss-army-knife-type receiver who has the ability to take it to the house anytime he touches the football; not necessarily a common combination of traits to possess; also an electric kick-returner
    http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2...outing-profile
He can make players miss in a phone booth like it is not a thing and that ability to catch and run is so incredibly useful at the next level. Henderson makes yards out of absolutely nothing, sometimes. What I love about Henderson the most is that he plays a tough brand of football, especially for a smaller guy. Despite being 5'10" and somewhere hovering around 185 pounds, Henderson has no problem running through guys after he has caught the football and does not mid catching passes with defenders around him.
    http://tenntruth.com/2017/02/21/tenn...-titans-draft/
Landing Henderson in the third round, in my opinion, would be an absolute steal for the Titans.
    OH LORD PLEASE NO http://ninernoise.com/2017/03/03/49e...eiver-sleeper/
The simple route-tree he ran at Louisiana Tech has been mentioned as a knock on Henderson as has the level of competition he faced in C-USA.
    Jordan Mills

    http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/0...t-nfl-combine/
Mills struggled mightily at times during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. According to ProFootball Focus’ analysis, he ended his two-year starting job with 12 sacks allowed, eight QB hits, 55 hurries in 21 starts, with 784 designated pass blocking snaps and a quarterback pressure for every 10.4 snaps – not a pretty picture.
    http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017...9-jordan-mills
It’s not often that a guy who plays 97% of the the team’s snaps is rated a bad investment at $1.67 million. Mills had a decent start to the season but could not maintain the momentum. Over the course of two games in the middle of the season, he surrendered 17 pressures and four sacks against the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks, according to Pro Football Focus.
    Kentrell Brice

    http://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/not-too...-an-impression
Like Cecil, undrafted safety Kentrell Brice has a knack for hitting the ball-carrier — hard. As evidenced by his crushing hit on Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley on a third-and-four pass completion late in the second quarter of an NFC Divisional playoff game, Brice packs a punch. A punch strong enough to flip the five-foot-eight Beasley upside down.

    Carlos Henderson

    http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/20...los_hende.html
"He's not as big as Marshall Faulk was when he came out of school," Reese said of the 5-feet-11, 199-pound Henderson, "but he could go toe-to-toe with him."
    http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/cfb/...rlos-henderson
"His return value should lock him into a team. I think he will come in as a fourth receiver, but he could have upped his draft value with another year at school." We disagree.
Louisiana Tech WR Carlos Henderson met with the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints earlier this week.
    http://goingfor2.com/philadelphia-eagles-7-round-mock/
Round 3 No. 74 Overall: WR Carlos Henderson

Henderson is explosive, athletic, fast, productive, has great hands, and is a reliable target. He reminds me of former Eagle’s WR Jeremy Maclin only slightly tougher. He’s a No. 1 WR in the making. Last year he hauled in 83 catches for 1,535 yards and 19 touchdowns. Yes, I know! The Eagles signed not just one but two Pro Bowl game-changing players at the position in free agency with WR Alshon Jeffry, ( A top 5 NFL WR) and Torrey Smith who’s a Desean Jackson like burner, and WR Jordan Matthews does have talent in the slot. That being said you can never have too many talented receivers in today’s pass happy NFL. Not to mention I fully expect WR Dorial Green-Beckham to be traded or cut after a below average 2016 campaign.
    http://www.scout.com/nfl/cardinals/s...rlos-henderson
Under head coach Bruce Arians, the Cardinals have always shown interest in faster athletes at the receiver position, and Henderson clocked in with a 4.46-second time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. Henderson also performed well in the vertical jump (36.0 inches) and the broad jump (131.0 inches) which demonstrates his impressive explosiveness.
    http://www.ninersnation.com/2017/3/2...2017-nfl-draft
Henderson is viewed as a potential late day two pick. He is an explosive and highly productive playmaker with a nose for the end zone (scored five touchdowns in a game - twice). He is a smooth and fluid quick-twitch receiver with excellent quick feet and the suddenness breaking in and out of his cuts exploding with elusiveness (very slippery after the catch) and great burst and speed.
    http://breakingfootball.com/2017-nfl...outing-report/
After battling injuries throughout most of 2015, Henderson nabbed 82 receptions in 2016 for an explosive 1,535 yards and 19 touchdowns while adding 2 rushing touchdowns and 2 kick return touchdowns. He was named the Conference USA’s Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Year for his efforts and a draft stock that has steadily ascended in the wake of his gigantic two game stretch vs. Western Kentucky in the Conference USA Championship Game (9-202-1) and vs. Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl (10-129-2). To date he has drawn the most interest from the Saints and Broncos.
    Jeff Driskel

    http://www.cincyjungle.com/2017/3/24...-qb-brad-kaaya
There’s also Jeff Driskel who was kept as the third string quarterback for all of 2016. The Bengals rarely keep three quarterbacks on the roster, which seems to indicate the team really likes Driskel.

    Jordan Mills

    http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017...fl-free-agency
Jordan Mills wasn’t great on the right side of the Buffalo Bills offensive line in 2016, but with no better options, he kept the job. Now in 2017, pretty much the same thing happened as Buffalo hasn’t been able to upgrade. They gave Mills a modest pay bump on his new contract.
    http://buffalonews.com/2017/03/16/mi...bills-coaches/
Mills started all 16 games at right tackle last season. Although he wasn't a disaster, he was far from spectacular and will have to prove his worthiness to keep the job.
    Kenneth Dixon

    http://ravenswire.usatoday.com/2017/...r-a-long-time/
The suspension is a disappointing situation considering the fact that everyone had high hopes that Dixon would have a good start to the 2017 season with his strength in the running game and his pass-catching ability. Newsome mentioned that Woodhead’s signing had nothing to do with Dixon’s suspension and was set to happen regardless.
    Paul Turner

    http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2...n-matthews-nfl
Players fighting for a roster spot in 2017: Dorial Green-Beckham, Bryce Treggs, Paul Turner, Rasheed Bailey, Marcus Johnson, David Watford, Dom Williams. The Eagles will also add some draft picks and/or undrafted rookie free agents receivers to this mix. Philadelphia also might not be totally done signing pass catchers in free agency. They could still look to take a flier on a very cheap option at this point.
    Quinton Patton

    http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/arti...2-e2f77791843f
Former Mississippi State CB Jonathan Banks, a second-round selection by the Bears in 2013, gave props to Patton during his draft process.

"I feel like [Patton] from Louisiana Tech is the best receiver I've played against since I've been here,” Banks said in an interview with ESPN.com. “I've gone against some good ones in the SEC, too, but he's probably the most complete."
    http://jetswire.usatoday.com/2017/03...reating-space/
If Patton continues to use his speed to create space in 2017, he may just force his new fanbase to learn his name.
    http://www.ganggreennation.com/2017/...ntract-details
Quinton Patton signed a one year, $800,000 contract with the Jets. Patton has a non-guaranteed base salary of $775,000 for the 2017 season and he received a $25,000 guaranteed roster bonus. Patton will count for $665,000 in cap space in 2017, with $25,000 in dead money if he is cut.
    Ryan Allen

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comment...off_duck_boat/
this is the most gangsta punter video I've ever seen. punters are out of control these days and I love it.
    Trent Taylor

    http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...e=66238&spln=1
A former Big 12 coach scoffed at the notion that Louisiana Tech WR Trent Taylor was somewhat comparable to former New England Patriots WR Wes Welker.
"I had a scout tell me he was just like Wes Welker which is crazy. Welker had a ton of punt return touchdowns (eight) and he was a lot stockier than Taylor. Taylor's a nice player from what I've seen but he's not in Wes' category," said the former coach. Taylor logged a hearty 136-1803-12 receiving line during the 2016 campaign and while he may not be Wes Welker, he could draw interest in the later rounds of the draft.
    http://michaelvick.net/2017/03/14/tr...ft-class-2017/

    Vernon Butler

    https://www.reddit.com/r/panthers/co...vernon_butler/
He was injured at the beginning of the year and then finished strong at the end. Expect him to become a true contributer this season.....The dude blocked two field goals, he's progressing well in my mind. He had an unfortunate injury hopefully he can stay healthy this year and show us what he can really do.
I am also interested in seeing the record for FG blocks by a rookie, but that stat is hard to come by.

I cant find it now but some media site compared the two. I think Henderson has more potential than Patton but agree as far as college production.

Really the most important thing is not to get drafted by SF.
