That's right make fun of the best fans Tech has. This is akin to laughing at our US military going into a tough mission, and saying something stupid like "have fun dealing with those guys." Only, the East-siders will deal with it and still stand and make more noise than the lazy-azz blue hairs on the West side.

Of course....maybe it'll be raining/thunderstorming....anyway.

1:30 Kickoff for a game in September. I really can't recall a 1:30 kickoff for any college game I have attended or ever watched on TV. The price for "progress".

I'm making a move to the West side this year for various reasons, and bringing all my rowdiness with me! If there are any blue hairs behind me, they can either deal with it or move!

Is one of your reasons just to annoy the fans there who like to relax and enjoy the game on a different level than you?

I can never understand the callous rudeness of fans who think they are being supportive of the team when they are ruining the experience for most of the fans around them. Why does everyone else have to accommodate you (they can just move). You are one of the reasons I no longer attend home games in Ruston. I have always been as vocal as anyone else, especially when an important play is about to happen. But standing up while the team huddles when we're 40 points ahead? I do not think that every play is so important that I have to stand to watch it. I hope someone stands in front of you when you have bulging disks in your back and arthritis in your hips and knees.

Yelling and cheering loudly I honestly approve of as I am always hoarse after a game. I don't think anyone would be offended by cheering (I have even been known to be profane when a disappointing play happens). I was just ranting about those who chose to stand and block my view when I don't want to stand. Getting up and cheering when an exciting play happens is quite different than standing just to be standing. If you say it's your way of supporting the team, then that's just one step different from grabbing your privates to make yourself feel the pain. (By the way what do female Aggie fans grab?) A pox upon the Aggies for starting the tradition of standing the entire game.
