I just saw that LSUA beat NWST last night...

Then I took a glance at NWST's schedule to see who they filled that Dec. 5 date with that they were saving for Tech. Answer: Nobody. NWST has an open weekend Dec. 5.

NWST was only able to schedule one NCAA DI opponent in Natchitoches: The JUCO in Monroe. NWST's other OOC home games are against 2 NAIA schools and 1 NCAA DIII school.

I'll say it again. We should never play another basketball game in Natchitoches. Props to Konkol for not giving in to NWST's classless tactics to try to get us to schedule a home-and-home with them.

I had forgotten how front loaded the conference schedule is.

6 of first 8 at home and 5 of last 6 on the road.

I will try to temper my excitement if we get off to a fast start, but it is probably favorable with new coach and all of the inexperienced players entering the season.
