Overheard a conversation today between two tigger fans. Talking about the thug QB situation that seems to be a running theme down in BR.
"What other choice do they have? I said the same thing when Jefferson was QB. Who else you gonna put under center?"
Had I wanted to get involved I would have offered, "First of all, you do your homework when recruiting someone." However, I refrained. Then they proceeded to justify the choice by reminding everyone around of "Scam" Newton. Started stirring the pot by discussing how much his dad was or was not paid. How easily they ignore how many college players on countless campuses, including BR, are paid to play ball.
Oh well, it was fun to see a little side show.
I'd tell any 2nd or 3rd stringer at elessewe.
