Conf Cusa ASN Streaming Broadcast Letter campaign.

Some of the folks at the CUSA website are sending emails to ASN requesting that they stream more CUSA football content this fall. If you have a couple minutes, please send ASN a message expressing your desire to see all four ASN Tech games via streaming.

FWIW I see where Saints pre-season games are being promoted to appear in August on KNOE and not Cox Cable in the Comcast markets of Monroe and Shreveport.

Can we assume availability of Cox in those two markets is dead in the water?

Usually KNOE and Fox14 will show a few of the preseason games. I think last year I saw one on the CW. There is a lot of money in it for local stations if they can get NFL content.

    Nope. Cox.

I was dining at Warehouse Restaurant when barkeep couldn't find Saints on TV. I had to direct them to the Cox channel . . . .which is blacked out in Monroe/West Monroe the rest of the year.

Sent mine. Dallas and Houston Tech fans, send them an email. Like last year, online streaming is the only way most of us are going to see any of these four ASN broadcasts.

A couple hundred emails from CUSA fans at this time of year is sure to get some attention and allow them to figure out the details to figure out the logistics. Please send them an email. Its about the quantity as much as anything.

also, send message to Root Sports SW http://southwest.rootsports.com/contact-us/

I sent an e-mail a while back and got a response that they are evaluating their fall schedule.

If we had root sports sw - most of louisiana cable would be covered by Root Sports or Cox Sports. Also, most of Louisiana DirecTV (if not all) would be covered by Root Sports. Not sure about Dish Network.

Yes. This is a better tactic than requesting online streaming. I doubt ASN is going to allow online streaming for games when plenty of markets are carrying the games on TV. Root Sports SW is the big one for Tech fans. CST is a wildcard depending on LSU game times because I'm sure they'll let CST's LSU Football Game Day show preempt our ASN games like last year and show our games on tape delay.

All the ASN games last year were broadcast live on Dish, no tape delay or blackouts. Part of the regional sports package, $5 a month.

Yes, but not on cable - Root Sports will reach some of those who haven't switched to satellite. I watched all the games on DirecTV last year. But, I want Tech games to be distributed to the widest area possible. Not just Dish/DirecTV subscribers.

Streaming is probably the only way I can see it in Oregon.
