Early football lines from Vegas

Besides Sagarin, the lines are the only thing not "hype". I will say they are normally off a bit early in the year.

1. Our DC was allowed to expose Doughty for his weakness. It worked and not because he had a bad day.
2. Our defense played as well as they did vs. Western all year.
3. Western's defense is probably improved? Our offense will be improved, so we have the edge there.

I'm just saying:

By all standards, their offense is great. For one reason or another (Diaz, Doughty), I don't think we can hold them to 10 points twice consecutively. Nothing against our defense at all. Please prove me wrong, defense.

WKU better have a game plan of quick passes bc our dbs will cover their wr one on one and if we can get any kind of rush from our front seven Doughty will have another horrible day. It may not be 10 points, but we will give them trouble. Both teams are going to have to alter their game plans in order to win. They will be better prepared for our blitz schemes. I am sure we will have new wrinkles that will not be seen until game 2.

We were the best defense they faced last year, next best was Illinois. I think it was more of a case of a well executed offense that for the majority of the season had little resistance on defense.
