So far we have seven players on eight watch lists:

I hope it is some of both. We do have some stud DBs and Dixon is a beast, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Trent Taylor's name. Although, who would not put him on the list after watching his films?

It might have something to do with winning the West and bowl game (over a P5 team) last year and returning a lot of key players from that team. I doubt we get this much recognition if we would have been 6-6 last year.

We should have had a lot on the 2012 watch lists (because of the 2011 team), but I can't remember if we did. (Ellis, Patton, Cameron, Mills, Warner, IK)?

This year is better than 2012. After a little research, I could only find 3 players for 4 awards. Chad Boyd (Thorpe Award), Stephen Warner (Rimington and Outland), and Ryan Allen (Ray Guy).

Yea I just noticed that as well. 71 seems excessive but I knew I double-counted anyway (Dixon counted 2x).

Here we go. Note: this is appearances of each school on the list. So we have 9 even tho there are 8 unique players. My dataset also had some school called Louisiana but there is no school named that so I assumed they were USL. I'll edit my previous post so this page isnt a mile long.
