I wanna see Daly make the cut. Don't think Watson can get there.
Those were some wild looking jammies Big John wore yesterday. What is he sporting today?

Dan Jenkins @danjenkinsgd Jul 15 It's the damn British Open. The Open Championship could mean anything. Pork-pie festival. Shepherd's-pie contest.

Dan Jenkins @danjenkinsgd 1h1 hour ago I say this respectfully: Danny Willett looks like a guy who could have driven the getaway car for Bonnie and Clyde.

Old Course was under water 4 hours ago, now tee shots are rolling 100 yards after they land. What's under these fairways, other than China?

Dustin & Jordan won't tee off until 5:48 in St. Andrews. Then what? 27 holes on Sunday? Monday finish? Voice of doom has spoken..

Idle thought. Two inconvenient things about tournament golf: weather delay and a Danny Willett, who's taken the lead. But it's early.

Good morning to all after a 3-hour, 14-minute delay. Gale winds, rain. Playable now. Need I say it's going to be a long day at St Andrews.

I see where an amateur, Ashley Chesters, is five under? Wodehouse couldn't have made up that name.

Wow, what a day, huh? I like Dwayne's mayhem scenario, except that I would love if Spieth could get his 3rd major of the year. I think the mayhem will produce an unlikely winner. Will make for good TV, though. I plan to settle in and watch the replay tonight.

For some reason that island has a complex. U.S. Open, Australian Open, French Open, The Championships Wembledon
U.S. Open and The Open Championship.
We all know that golf originated there. Modern tennis started in France, correct? If anyone can claim THE championship in that sport it should be the French.
I will always think of it as the British Open. What about The English Open for tennis?
I miss the BC Open...
