What it will do is cause an arms race in the middle east. The Saudis no longer trust the US because we left them hanging. They are now talking with Russia. Obama has caused a MAJOR CLUSTER!! Iran has NEVER kept their word!! Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results (especially from Iran) is STUPIDITY!!!!

In 1938 Neville Chamberlain made a deal with Hitler. Now, Obama thinks he is Neville Chamberlain. The bad news is...Obama will get the same results!! Obama is delusional, inept, and DEFINITELY the WORST president in US history!!!!

The arms race has been going on for a while.

The Sauds alone have inked a $12-billion deal last month with France for some support helicopters (I would LOVE to have the civilian version myself). They are waiting on Canada to approve $15-billion deal for light armored vehicles negotiated last year. We sold them missiles for $1.75 billion the last quarter of last year. That all is just in the last year. Can go back to 2007 when I started a thread pointing out the stupidity of selling them JDAMs to "counter Iran" for $20-billion. Heck, I bet you can go further back then that.

Point being, arms sales have been growing in the Middle East and will make the already in overdrive bonanza go into double overdrive. I don't think they'll go to Russia because that is where Iran goes. You want to win, you got to have different and better equipment. The stuff Iran will be getting from Russia, and China, are inferior still to anything we've had since the mid-80's.

In 2012, the Middle East accounted for 20% of global military arms sales. Even with China's military growth, I would suspect that the Middle East has increased its share.

Hard to believe we/Obama didn't hang on. And harder to believe we/Obama didn't destroy these guys while they were out in the open on the desert roads with all of our military hardware.
Then again Obama, Mr Clueless Community Organizer, told us they were the "JV Team"!

ISIS PREVENTABLE? Army chief says US could have averted group's rise

EXCLUSIVE: ARMY CHIEF OF STAFFGen. Ray Odierno tells Fox News it's 'frustrating' to watch the gains he helped achieve in Iraq disintegrate at the hands of the Islamic State and it's rise 'might have been prevented' if the US remained engaged.

And now the FBI states the obvious.

TROUBLING WARNING: ISIS a bigger threat than Al Qaeda, FBI chief says

FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY told an audience at a security conference that the Islamic State’s effort to inspire troubled Americans to extremism is a great threat to the U.S. than an external attack form Al Qaeda.

Somebody must have drawn a picture for these idiots in the Obama administration, because I doubt many of them know how to read!

Obama will continue to send a token drone here and there and not much else but words.

I hate to say oit but Putin is correct.

Russia Says U.S. Policies Helped Islamic State, Interfax Reports

    November 22, 2015 — 5:26 AM CSTUpdated on November 22, 2015 — 11:28 AM CST

U.S. actions in the Middle East helped Islamic State to gain influence, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said, according to Interfax.
The strengthening of Islamic State “became possible partly due to irresponsible U.S. politics” that focused on fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad instead of joining efforts to root out terrorism, Medvedev was cited as saying in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. President Barack Obama earlier on Sunday said that Russia is facing a strategic choice as Assad can’t stay. The Obama administration declined to comment Sunday on Medvedev’s statement.

And this one by Obama point man Democrat Leon Panetta.

PANETTA: ‘BY NOT GETTING INVOLVED,’ U.S. ‘CONTRIBUTED’ TO ISIS CHAOS

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Secretary of Defense for the Obama administration Leon Panetta said of the rise of ISIS in Syria and Iraq was a result of the United States “not getting involved sooner.”
Host Chuck Todd asked, “You know, you were not shy about criticizing the president and the strategy on Syria. I’m curious. Do you think we’d be in a different place today if you criticized there was a failure to push the Iraqi government to allow a residual force to remain in Iraq? The decision not to arm Syrian rebels in 2012 and the failure to follow through against Assad when the president said he crossed the red line. Taken together, if any one thing had changed there, would we be in a different place today, Mr. Secretary?”
Panetta said “Chuck, that’s really hard to say because of the chaos that we’re seeing in Syria. We’ve gotten a awful lot of people that bear some responsibility there, including the United States.
